The Gen 2 dynamic keybed delivers a world-class level of note dynamics and response, with a wider velocity range for enhanced playability.

The MPK Mini Plus offers extensive control features, including 8 velocity-sensitive drum pads perfect for playing beats. Users can dial in effects with the 8 assignable 360-rotary knobs, which can be used for functions such as filters, automation, and pan controls. Dedicated transport controls also provide total integration into the user's DAW.

Connectivity and operation have been enhanced with the new 2-track step sequencer, allowing for convenient capture of new ideas on the fly. The MPK Mini Plus can connect to Class-Compliant USB devices or 5-pin MIDI devices, and also features CV/Gate connectors for interfacing with racks and other modular synths. Users can record up to 8 notes per chord step and up to 16 note drum step patterns.

The included MPC Beats software DAW for Mac and PC offers the iconic MPC workflow right on a desktop or laptop computer, providing thousands of sounds, drum samples, loops, and plugin instruments to create new music.
